IBMI delegation visited eight healthcare-related industry associations and their senior executives including presidents and CEO, exchanged views of industry development from pharmaceuticals to medical devices and broached topics upon biotech policies, regulations, research institutes and companies. They also envisaged possible ways of supply chains integration between Malaysia and Taiwan and pushed forward the bilateral exchange and cooperation for the healthcare industry.

Following the visit, the delegation was invited to the 2018 APHM International Healthcare Conference and Exhibition, which is the largest trade fair organised by Association of Private Hospitals of Malaysia. The Exhibition attracted exhibitors, buyers and professionals in Malaysia and from overseas getting together to find partners and products.

The delegation also visited Next Level Technologies, Parkway Pantai Hospital, Dispo-MED, MHTC and SIRIM SST.
