IBMI celebrated its 21st anniversary by hosting a dinner party on 25 March for 200 guests, including government officials and C-level representatives from Taiwan's vibrant healthcare and technology sectors. IBMI’s executive team thanked everyone in the room for their commitment to developing and expanding the healthcare industry hand-in-hand over the years.

Invited guests included President Tsai, and San-Cheng Chang (張善政), Mayor of Taoyuan City, as well as chairmen representing the banking and finance and technology sectors, namely Rock Hsu(許勝雄), Co-founder of Kinpo Electronics, Inc., Kuo-I Yeh (葉國一), President of Inventec Group, Richard Tsai (蔡明興), Chairman of Fubon Financial, Eugene Wu (吳東進), Chairman of Shin Kong Wu Ho Su Memorial Hospital, and Hou-Tu Tsai (蔡宏圖), Chairman of Cathay Financial Holdings.

Tsai mentioned in her remarks that the global pandemic has boosted the biomedical industry and the government has made it a top priority in terms of policy making. She expressed high hopes that Taiwan’s supply chain will become an indispensable asset for its counterparts in other parts of the world.

Chi-Huey Wong, President of IBMI, sent a video message expressing his appreciation to the board members for steering the healthcare industry into partnership and collaboration with more business sectors. He also announced that some leaders in their respective fields will join the board and will work collectively to achieve sustainability and internationalisation of the healthcare industry.
