Our hospital is located in the East Rift Valley National Scenic Area. The main building has a red tile roof and white walls. The surrounding environment has gorgeous landscape and is rich in resources, just like paradise. Our hospital is the largest psychiatric teaching hospital in Taiwan and we uphold a “patient-centered” medical core value. In terms of management, we focus on six major strategies: humanized care, optimized healthcare, life-oriented rehabilitation, green hospital, technologized service and globalized research. We also carry out government policies on psychiatric healthcare and long-term care to forge the best comprehensive care. Yuli Hospital is like one big family, everyone in the hospital treats each other like family members. In addition, for the 2300 psychiatric patients under our care, this is truly their “home.” The hospital was established to be a safe harbor for the body, mind, and soul. For a place to be accepted as “home” and for it to grow, it needs to continuously create memorable experiences, which help establish the identity of a “home” for the staff and residents. In the future, our hospital will strive towards our short, medium, and long- term goals, continue to increase the healthcare quality of the patients and hope to become the most comprehensive chronic psychiatric hospital and healthcare benchmarking institution in the country.
