Tanvex’s June Consolidated Revenue Soars 997% Year-on-Year, Setting New Record; CDMO Revenue Surges

Tanvex-KY announced on the 8th that its preliminary consolidated revenue for June reached NT$26.56 million, up approximately 127% from the previous month and soaring 997.56% year-on-year, marking consecutive monthly growth and a new record for the same period. The preliminary consolidated revenue for Q2 totaled NT$46.82 million. Although exchange rate fluctuations caused a slight 6% decrease in NT dollar terms compared to the previous quarter, when measured in functional currency USD, Tanvex Biotech’s Q2 revenue reached about US$1.56 million, representing a 3% increase quarter-on-quarter.

Tanvex Biotech stated that CDMO (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization) business revenue in June was US$1.45 million, a substantial increase of over 60% compared to the previous quarter. With rapid cross-border resource integration between Taiwan and U.S. plants and the ongoing construction of a 2,000-liter capacity expansion at the San Diego facility, growth momentum is promising.

Additionally, at the end of June, Tanvex Biotech officially signed a licensing, sales, and manufacturing agreement with international pharmaceutical giant Cipla to jointly launch Tanvex’s first biosimilar product, NYPOZI (with Neupogen as the reference product), into the U.S. market. This will not only mark Tanvex Biotech’s first biologic product launch in the U.S. but will also establish its San Diego facility as a commercial-scale manufacturing site, significantly enhancing Tanvex’s competitive advantage in securing commercial manufacturing orders from U.S.-based customers.

Under this licensing agreement, Cipla will handle marketing and sales of NYPOZI in the U.S., while Tanvex’s U.S. subsidiary, Tanvex USA, will serve as the registered manufacturer responsible for commercial production and supply. In addition to licensing fees and milestone payments, Tanvex expects to recognize revenue and profit contributions gradually through product supply sales and post-launch sales royalties. Both parties are actively preparing for the U.S. market launch, with NYPOZI expected to be officially introduced in the second half of this year.
