Bora Health, the pharmaceutical distribution arm of SunWay Biotech, has signed a collaboration agreement with global pharmaceutical leader Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. (Dr. Reddy’s), securing exclusive distribution rights in Taiwan for four of its products. These drugs focus on therapeutic areas including infectious diseases, central nervous system (CNS) disorders, and rare diseases, significantly enhancing Bora Health’s product lineup in the hospital channel.

Bobby Sheng, Chairman of SunWay Biotech, stated, “By evaluating international developments and Taiwan’s pharmaceutical needs, Bora Health is collaborating with Dr. Reddy’s to offer a broader range of generic drug options and deepen our focus on rare disease medications. Mr. Satheeshkumar Sriharan, General Manager of Greater China at Dr. Reddy’s, attended the signing ceremony in person. He remarked that among their recent partnerships, the collaboration with Bora Health is especially anticipated. “With Bora’s experience in branded generics and distribution channels, we believe more patients in need of access to essential treatments will benefit from more diverse and effective options—because health can’t wait.”

In November 2023, Bora Health officially became part of SunWay Biotech under the Bora Group. The company engages in the distribution of finished pharmaceutical products, covering a wide range including prescription drugs, OTC medications, health supplements, and skincare products. It has established a robust presence across Taiwan’s healthcare channels, including hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and direct-to-consumer e-commerce platforms.
