
The Taiwan Stock Exchange announced on the 30th that StemCyte International, Ltd. (永笙生技-KY) has submitted its application for a primary stock listing on the same day, making it the first foreign company this year to apply for a stock listing in Taiwan.

StemCyte’s Chairman is Jonas Wang (王嘉宗), and its General Manager and CEO is Tong-Young Lee (李冬陽). The company’s core offerings include cellular therapeutics, cell supply, and cell-related services. At the time of the filing, StemCyte reported a paid-in capital of NT$1.924 billion and net equity of NT$1.696 billion.
Financial data for the previous year show a pre-tax net loss of NT$204 million, with an earnings per share (EPS) of -NT$1.14. Annual revenue was NT$382 million.
Corporate Structure and Operations
Founded on June 26, 2013, as a Cayman Islands holding company, StemCyte operates primarily in the U.S. and Taiwan, including Taiwan StemCyte Co., Ltd., Zhentai Biomedicine Co., Ltd., and the Taichung branch of Taiwan StemCyte Co., Ltd. In terms of market distribution, last year domestic sales accounted for 99.05% of revenue, with exports making up only 0.95%.
Shareholding Structure
According to available data, major shareholders and corporate directors include DIAMOND BIOFUND (鑽石投資, 12.05%), while the upper-tier shareholders consist of ONENESS BIOTECH (合一生技), Fubon’s Ming-Hsing Tsai (蔡明興) and Ming-Chung Tsai (蔡明忠), and Taishin Venture Capital Investment (台新創業投資). Another corporate director, Fubon Financial Holdings Venture Capital, holds 7.17% of shares. Collectively, the entire board controls 21.76% of StemCyte’s shares.
