PEGAVISION is banking on its silicone hydrogel products as a key driver for future growth and is actively advancing its production expansion plans. The Daxi plant will serve as the main production hub for the next two years. Currently, its monthly capacity is around 10 million units, expected to increase to 15 million by the end of this year, and further expand to 20–30 million units per month next year.
The company noted that sales feedback from Europe and Japan has been strong, providing significant momentum for third-quarter operations. PEGAVISION is confident in next year’s volume growth and expects silicone hydrogel products to account for 15% of revenue next year, up from approximately 10% this year.
To support this capacity expansion, PEGAVISION plans capital expenditures of around NT$1.3 billion in 2026, primarily for expanding the Daxi plant and upgrading automation equipment to meet mass production demands. The company emphasized that this investment focuses on Taiwan operations, not the Vietnam plant project, as the Vietnam facility has largely completed its hardware setup and is currently undergoing product registration, with mass production and shipments expected to begin in 2027. This plant will serve as a strategic node in the company’s regional supply chain to support customer operations in Southeast Asia.
In addition to local expansion, PEGAVISION is also strengthening its overseas manufacturing bases to diversify production risks and reduce tariff burdens. The Nantong plant in China began mass production this year, currently with a monthly capacity of approximately 8 million units. Operations at this facility help mitigate high tariffs and shipping costs when exporting from Taiwan to China, further enhancing cost competitiveness.
