HanchorBio (HCB) is approaching a major inflection point. Chairman Scott Liu announced plans to list on the Taiwan Innovation Board (TIB) by Q2 2026, driven by the global development of its broad-spectrum oncology candidate, HCB101.
HCB101: A Potential Best-in-Class CD47 Therapy
HCB101 is a 3.5-generation targeted CD47 fusion protein developed via HanchorBio's proprietary FBDB AI platform. It addresses the hematological toxicity and instability issues that plagued earlier CD47 attempts.
- Phase I Success: Demonstrated partial remission in solid tumors—the first CD47 monotherapy to do so globally.
- Gastric Cancer Strategy: Current Phase Ib/IIa data for combination therapy in 2nd-line gastric cancer shows results 26.5% superior to current standards of care.
- Timeline: The company anticipates obtaining U.S. FDA Orphan Drug Designation and Chinese Breakthrough Therapy status next year. Submission for conditional marketing approval is targeted for Q4 2027.
HanchorBio is also advancing HCB303 (a tri-specific oncology antibody) and HCB206 (a dual-target autoimmune candidate) into clinical trials in 2026.
