General Biologicals Corp. (GBC/普生) has finalized its transformation into a dual-engine model focusing on Precision Medicine and Bio-healthcare. GM Lin Meng-te stated that the company is integrating "Equipment + Reagents" to drive growth.
Operational Highlights:
- Precision Medicine: GBC has developed 81 CLIA (Chemiluminescence Immunoassay) reagents. Five products, including the CL i120/10, have secured TFDA clearance. Next year, the company plans to submit 20 additional reagents for both TFDA and EU IVDR certification.
- Market Expansion: Reagents account for 50% of revenue, with 60% coming from international markets (Brazil, India, Malaysia, and the Middle East). The GBC AIO (All-in-One) automated testing equipment is targeting regional hospitals and clinics.
- Bio-healthcare: The proprietary brand "oh care", centered on the P113+ antimicrobial peptide technology, has expanded into over 500 physical stores in Taiwan and over 30 global e-commerce platforms like Amazon.
With the synergy of cancer screening alliances (e.g., Fubon Life) and high-margin CLIA systems, analysts estimate GBC's revenue growth will reach 15–20% in 2026.
