Celebrating 40 years of service, Hualien Tzu Chi Hospital is presenting its comprehensive clinical and research portfolio at the Expo. The hospital’s showcase spans Regenerative Medicine, CAR-T therapy, and AI-driven Smart Healthcare.

Clinical & Research Pillars:

• Regenerative Medicine: Significant progress in spinal cord injury (SCI) repair using Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS), as well as regenerative applications in urology and orthopedics (knee joints).
• Exosome Research: The Tzu Chi team is presenting findings on dual-target exosomes (SST3/CD47) for Alzheimer’s disease and the potential of plant-derived stem cell exosomes.
• AI & Cloud Integration: Hualien Tzu Chi, in partnership with Google Cloud and iKala, has successfully migrated its Smart Dialysis Microservices to the cloud. This ensures that rural branch hospitals in Yuli and Guanshan receive medical-center-level data stability and resilience, even during natural disasters.
• CAR-T & Oncology: Sharing international experience in CAR-T cell therapy and precision prevention/minimally invasive treatment for early-stage gastrointestinal cancers.
• ESG & Sustainability: Recently awarded the National Sustainable Development Award, the hospital is also showcasing "Circular Life for Medical Waste" in collaboration with DA.AI Technology.
