Bora Pharmaceuticals announced on December 9 that its subsidiary Bora Health’s proprietary product, Megestrol Acetate Oral Suspension, has been included in the China National Reimbursement Drug List (NRDL).

Strategic Partnerships:

• Exclusive Rights: GeneScience Pharmaceuticals (a subsidiary of Changchun High-tech) has secured exclusive distribution and MAH (Marketing Authorization Holder) status for the product in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Singapore.
• Value Chain Integration: Bora and GeneScience are currently negotiating a CDMO agreement for commercial mass production. This would create a comprehensive value chain for Bora, spanning R&D and licensing to large-scale manufacturing.
• Financials: Due to the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday and new competition for its DLS generic, Bora reported November consolidated revenue of NT$1.5 billion (down 10.81% YoY). However, cumulative revenue for the first 11 months reached NT$18.11 billion, representing a 4.88% YoY growth.
