NaviFUS Corp announced on March 3 the successful installation of its NaviFUS Model-101 Focused Ultrasound system at the Centre Léon Bérard (CLB) in Lyon, France—a premier European cancer research hub.

This collaboration involves CLB and the renowned LabTAU laboratory. While the French partners fully funded the equipment purchase, NaviFUS provides technical and regulatory support. This commercial model generates immediate hardware revenue while creating long-term streams from consumables and software licensing.

The CLB neuro-oncology team will utilize the NaviFUS platform to non-invasively open the Blood-Brain Barrier (BBB), specifically targeting brain metastases. By enhancing the penetration of chemotherapy and novel immunotherapies into the brain, NaviFUS is successfully transitioning from a research equipment provider to a clinical solution leader in the global oncology market.
