Qisda Corporation is intensifying its push into the healthcare sector, with its group companies DKABio, MetaAge, and MarkeTop Smart Solutions spearheading efforts to capture opportunities in the smart healthcare market.

MarkeTop Smart Solutions has already introduced its digital healthcare systems at National Cheng Kung University Hospital (NCKU) in Tainan and National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH) in Hsinchu. The company anticipates that the government’s “Healthy Taiwan” Initiative will drive a new wave of digital transformation and smart upgrades across Taiwan’s medical institutions. Wen-Hsing Tseng, General Manager of Qisda’s Smart Solutions Business Group, stated on the 17th that he remains optimistic about the group’s performance in the third quarter, though noted that earlier pull-in orders from the U.S. market may affect fourth-quarter results, which remain to be seen.

Qisda and Amazon Web Services (AWS) co-hosted the “Healthy Taiwan: AI and Digital Twin – Shaping a New Smart Healthcare Model” forum yesterday. Leveraging a “joint fleet strategy,” Qisda has integrated group partners including MetaAge, DKABio, and MarkeTop Smart Solutions, collaborating with AWS on cloud computing, machine learning, and cybersecurity frameworks to build a comprehensive smart healthcare ecosystem that spans hospital operations, medical equipment, and precision health services. Pilot programs are already underway at several medical centers, regional hospitals, and healthcare institutions across Taiwan.

Within Qisda’s Smart Solutions Business Group, DKABio focuses on AI-driven personal health management. The company unveiled a new AI precision health technology that overcomes the limitations of traditional blood and urine testing. By inputting eight home-measurable physiological indicators and responses to six short questions, users can generate their personalized digital twin. Combined with wearable devices, the AI system dynamically simulates 20 key physiological indicators correlated with chronic diseases.

MarkeTop Smart Solutions, targeting the hospital and clinical market, continues to expand rapidly. General Manager Chi-Pao Huang noted that the company spun off from the Qisda Group last year and, thanks to years of groundwork, has successfully implemented its solutions at NCKU and NTUH Hsinchu Branch. He added that the government’s NT$50 billion “Healthy Taiwan” initiative will further accelerate the digital transformation and smart service upgrades of medical institutions nationwide.
