SHAREHOPE MEDICINE Fully Advances Healthy Taiwan Initiative, Building Operational Momentum for Next Year
2026-01-15

SHAREHOPE MEDICINE held an investor conference yesterday afternoon (19), announcing that in response to the government’s Healthy Taiwan policy, the Group has established the “Healthy Taiwan Deepening Program Executive Center” at Min-Sheng General Hospital Jingguo Main Campus. The center will be officially inaugurated tomorrow (20) by Chairman Yang Hung-Jen.

SHAREHOPE MEDICINE continues to streamline operations and integrate performance across its subsidiaries, with losses from equity-invested businesses narrowing and core operations showing a significant recovery. Operating profit in the third quarter increased 141.33% year-on-year, while net profit attributable to the parent company after tax rose 85.26%. For the first three quarters, operating profit grew 27.67% year-on-year. However, due to a higher base in the same period last year from non-operating gains related to the sale of Dayuan Min-Sheng, net profit attributable to the parent company declined 19.99% year-on-year, with EPS of NT$0.65.

Looking ahead to 2026, SHAREHOPE MEDICINE stated that it will fully promote the Healthy Taiwan initiative, with the professional capabilities and operational synergies of its various business units expected to continue strengthening. The Min-Sheng healthcare system has safeguarded public health for over 50 years, and going forward will actively embrace emerging trends to move toward the next 50 years, aiming to build a century-long legacy of smart healthcare.

SHAREHOPE MEDICINE is actively advancing smart healthcare in support of the Healthy Taiwan policy. The Healthy Taiwan Deepening Program Executive Center at Min-Sheng will hold its inauguration ceremony today, with the goal of building Taiwan’s first smart healthcare system platform that connects home-based care institutions with medical facilities, achieving smart healthcare objectives for Hospital at Home (HaH) services and telecare in the Taoyuan region.

The Healthy Taiwan Executive Center will integrate Min-Sheng General Hospital and the Smart Health Management Center to implement the Healthy Taiwan Deepening Program. It will also collaborate with SHAREHOPE MEDICINE subsidiaries Techgroup Information and Digimed to jointly develop digital health and smart healthcare services, while working with multiple ICT partners, including Chief Telecom and Jotangi Technology, to build a next-generation digital healthcare platform based on Smart on FHIR.

SHAREHOPE MEDICINE will further integrate the extensive healthcare service resources of its subsidiaries, including YES CHAIN PHARMACY, Harvard Medical Center, and Hsinchu Science Park Employee Clinic, to fully accelerate the Healthy Taiwan Deepening Program and create Taiwan’s first comprehensive, end-to-end smart healthcare ecosystem spanning home-based institutions and medical facilities.

As Taiwan formally enters a super-aged society, effectively leveraging digital technologies and artificial intelligence to build a smart health system that covers all age groups and care settings, provides proactive early warnings, and enables timely intervention and management is essential to achieving the goals of the Healthy Taiwan policy. Through group-wide resource integration, the Healthy Taiwan Deepening Program Executive Center at Min-Sheng aims to build a next-generation digital healthcare platform. Via the Healthy Taiwan Deepening Program, it plans to connect more than 50 institutions in the Taoyuan region, including Min-Sheng system units, regional hospitals, primary care clinics, and long-term care facilities, to realize smart healthcare goals for home-based care and telecare, serving as a model for the transformation of health policy.

Under SHAREHOPE MEDICINE, YES CHAIN PHARMACY continues to deepen its community-based health services. In addition, the Good Neighbor Pharmacy Alliance established by YES CHAIN PHARMACY has demonstrated the advantages of joint procurement, with both procurement value and the number of participating pharmacies steadily increasing this year. Procurement volume in the first three quarters rose by more than 10% compared with the same period last year.
