Enimmune (安特羅), a subsidiary of Adimmune, announced on December 9 a partnership with Thermo Fisher Scientific to distribute the ImmunoCAP allergy testing brand—widely considered the industry’s "gold standard"—across Taiwan’s women’s and children’s hospitals, pediatric clinics, and health checkup centers.
Market and Clinical Context:
- Gold Standard: ImmunoCAP is the only allergy diagnostic product line where every item has received Taiwan FDA (TFDA) certification. It is widely used for IgE-mediated diseases such as asthma, allergic rhinitis, and atopic dermatitis and is covered by National Health Insurance.
- Unmet Needs: The prevalence of allergic rhinitis in Taiwanese children under 10 is nearly 50%. Enimmune aims to capture a significant share of the NT$360 million local testing market, which is part of a global market projected to reach US$6.6 billion with a 10.9% CAGR through 2034.
- Consumer Diversification: Beyond pediatric care, the partnership will introduce customized testing kits for fitness and dietary-controlled populations. This initiative reinforces Enimmune’s "Integrated Service Matrix," spanning vaccines, diagnostics, and medical aesthetics.
