In Japan, a new "rapid dose escalation" protocol was recently approved, which is expected to accelerate patient response times and drive higher adoption rates.
• Regulatory Milestones: The US FDA has set an action date of August 30, 2026, for Ropeg’s use in Essential Thrombocythemia (ET). Site inspections for the SURPASS-ET and EXCEED-ET trials are currently underway.
• Patient Convenience: PharmaEssentia has submitted data for a pen-injector device to the US FDA, with a commercial launch expected in the second half of 2026. This is anticipated to significantly improve patient compliance and attract a broader long-term user base.
