ScinoPharm Advances "Triple-Core" Strategy; Focuses on High-Value Drug-Device Combinations
2026-04-26

At its March 19 investor conference, ScinoPharm reported a stable gross margin despite currency exchange headwinds. The company is aggressively pushing its three core business units: API, Finished Dosage Forms (FDF), and CDMO.

  • FDF & Regulatory Success: ScinoPharm secured three major drug licenses last year, including Clofarabine (leukemia) and Glatiramer Acetate (multiple sclerosis) in the U.S., and its first oncology license in Taiwan for Bortezomib.
  • 2026 Outlook: The company currently has four U.S. drug applications (ANDA) under review, including a weight-loss medication. The CDMO business, which has seen a 14% CAGR over the last five years, will now focus on high-value categories such as peptides, steroids, and cytotoxic drugs.
  • One-Stop Service: By integrating its API expertise with finished dosage manufacturing, ScinoPharm aims to provide a seamless "one-stop-shop" for international biotech firms, particularly in the complex drug-device combination market.
