At the 2025 Taiwan Healthcare+ Expo held on December 4 at the Nangang Exhibition Center, President Lai Ching-te visited the Veterans Affairs Council (VAC) medical system pavilion. Dr. Wei-Ming Chen, President of Taipei Veterans General Hospital (TVGH), presented the comprehensive achievements of "Future Healthcare," focusing on clinical AI applications, medical service robots, smart hospital systems, precision medicine, and intelligent long-term care.

• Presidential Recognition: President Lai commended TVGH’s long-term commitment to smart healthcare, citing the successful clinical integration of AI and robotics as a model for the nation’s medical advancement.
• International Engagement: The TVGH pavilion attracted global healthcare and tech leaders, including senior executives from the PureHealth Group and M42 (United Arab Emirates), a medical and business delegation from Slovakia, and partner hospital teams from Vietnam.
• Innovative Exhibits: TVGH mobilized 15 teams to present 16 innovations, including:
• Service robots for radioactive iodine treatment wards.
• An AI-driven automated radiopharmaceutical dispensing system.
• Generative AI for medical records and nursing systems.
• AI detection for pulmonary hypertension and FDA-certified AI fundus analysis.
• Multimodal treatment for pancreatic cancer and genomic sequencing for thyroid cancer.
• Personalized diagnostics for azoospermia and the "Three-Stage, Five-Level" strategy for high myopia prevention.
