Ever Fortune.AI is targeting the growing burden on frontline healthcare workers by developing an AI-powered medical care robot through its joint venture with Phison Electronics. Their co-founded company, EverBot Technology, is expected to unveil a prototype in the third quarter and make its public debut at a medical technology exhibition by the end of the year. Supported by the ramp-up of its Medical AI product line and continued strong sales of health supplements by its subsidiary, Ever Fortune.AI anticipates a 20–30% year-over-year revenue increase in 2024.
As healthcare challenges intensify—from nursing shortages to hospital resident salary disputes—Ever Fortune.AI’s March partnership with Phison marked a strategic push into intelligent healthcare solutions. The joint venture grants Ever Fortune and its affiliates a 60% stake, with Phison holding the remaining 40%. Their shared vision is to create robots capable of automating medication delivery, providing patient companionship, and assisting with caregiving tasks, all with the goal of easing staff workload. The company aims to secure TFDA certification by the end of 2026 and begin clinical deployment, with a commercial launch set for 2027.
An internal prototype release is slated for Q3, with a first public appearance scheduled at a medical tech trade show by year-end. The company revealed that it already has incoming orders and is confident the product will reach breakeven in its first year of shipments.
However, medical robots remain in the early development stage, with real-world use cases and market needs still being defined. Regulatory clarity is also lacking. Ever Fortune.AI Chairman Chen Ming-Feng recently noted that technology often outpaces regulation. The company is in close dialogue with regulatory authorities to determine whether certification is required, what medical device classification the product falls under, and which validation processes it must undergo.
The government has expressed a generally supportive stance toward such innovative technologies and is looking to international frameworks to guide the formation of domestic regulatory systems. While the current landscape is still evolving, Ever Fortune.AI is committed to cooperating with regulatory bodies to help shape policy and ensure full compliance for future products.
In 2023, Ever Fortune.AI achieved NT$345 million in revenue, representing 2.7x year-over-year growth. Revenue from January through May 2024 reached NT$133 million, up 14.9% from the same period last year. The strong performance in 2023 was largely driven by its acquisition of Kang Jian, a downstream client now integrated as a subsidiary offering probiotics, diagnostic kits, and other health products. The company is also seeing increasing contributions from its Medical AI line. For 2024, Ever Fortune.AI plans to allocate more resources to its robotics and custom solution projects, aiming for double-digit percentage growth. Institutional forecasts suggest full-year revenue may rise by 20–30%.
