Bora Pharmaceuticals announced on the 10th that its preliminary consolidated revenue for June reached NT$1.65 billion, a 2.7% decrease compared to the same period last year. When measured in U.S. dollars, however, June revenue grew 10.3% from May and increased 3.4% year-over-year. The main factor for this discrepancy was the appreciation of the New Taiwan dollar. For the first half of this year, Bora’s cumulative revenue exceeded NT$10 billion, representing a 26.9% year-on-year increase and setting a new historical record for the period. Overall operations continue to show steady growth.

Bora stated that its global sales remain stable, primarily driven by the expanding market share of VIGAFYDE oral solution, used to treat Infantile Spasms. Other product lines also maintained steady development. On the CDMO front, production at the sterile injection facility in Maryland, which had been delayed, resumed in late June, and the revenue impact from this event will be gradually recovered.

Notably, Bora’s new orders on hand for the first half of the year rose to US$138 million, a 60% quarterly increase. The highest order value proportions came from the Canadian facility and Maryland sterile injection plant, largely representing promising new clients with growth potential expected to become key customers. The Maple Grove site in Minnesota also saw confirmation of long-term strategic partnerships following trial orders from clients in development stages, alongside medium and small pharmaceutical companies increasingly signing contracts to bring manufacturing back to the U.S. Overall, Bora’s operations are expected to develop steadily and optimistically in the second half of the year.
