On July 21, Libo Pharma announced the successful completion of a NT$850 million fundraising round. In addition to continued support from its parent company LIH PAO GROUP, original venture capital shareholders Beiley Biofund, Zhongjia Investment, and President International Development, this round also attracted several new investors, including Taishin Venture Capital, CDIB Healthcare II Venture Fund, Capital Venture Management, CTBC Venture Capital, and Qisda Group. Despite global economic uncertainties and tariff concerns, the company achieved this fundraising against the odds, underscoring the market’s strong confidence in Libo Pharma’s R&D capabilities and future potential.
Libo Pharma stated that the funds raised will be used to advance the development and global deployment of its core product—NM-IL-12, a novel large-molecule protein immunotherapy. The drug is currently preparing to initiate a global Phase III clinical trial for Cutaneous T-cell Lymphoma (CTCL), and is also entering patient recruitment for a Phase II clinical trial targeting Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma (DLBCL).
In addition, the company is planning to expand into solid tumor indications. It will collaborate with multiple clinical medical centers to initiate Investigator-Initiated Trials (IIT), further broadening the clinical application of NM-IL-12.
A subsidiary of the LIH PAO GROUP’s biotechnology arm, Libo Pharma benefits from the group’s robust presence in real estate development, hospitality, leisure, and cultural and creative industries. In recent years, LIH PAO GROUP has actively expanded into the medical and biotech sectors, investing heavily in innovation and R&D to position its companies on the global stage.
Libo Pharma noted that this round of fundraising not only strengthens its capital base but also supports its steady path toward being listed on Taiwan’s Emerging Stock Board. The company aims to complete its listing by the fourth quarter of 2025. Taishin Securities, a leading and experienced underwriter in the capital market, will serve as the lead underwriter. Libo Pharma will continue advancing its R&D pipeline and seek strategic global partnerships to accelerate the internationalization of its innovative therapies.
