Inventec’s Smart Healthcare Arm GOOD FUTURE BIOMEDICAL Reports Strong Progress
2025-08-12

Inventec has been actively expanding into high-margin product lines such as smart healthcare in recent years. Its subsidiary, GOOD FUTURE BIOMEDICAL, has secured a firm foothold in the smart health and medical market. The company’s flagship product—its circulating tumor cell (CTC) detection system—is now being promoted in partnership with Malaysian firm Wellspring Solutions Sdn Bhd, aiming to obtain Malaysia’s Medical Device Authority (MDA) registration. Certification is expected within the year, which will further strengthen collaborations with local healthcare institutions.

In response to the rising demand for cancer-related cell testing, GOOD FUTURE BIOMEDICAL partnered with fellow group company Inventec Appliances to develop an automated CTC detection system, successfully penetrating the Southeast Asian market. In Thailand, the company has already signed with a local distributor and is currently establishing medical market channels while undergoing local medical device certification processes.

The company also noted that it added a new distribution partner in South Korea this year and is planning to officially expand into the Northeast Asian market in 2026, with Japan and South Korea as the primary targets.

Regarding plans to enhance testing throughput and biomarker detection capabilities, GOOD FUTURE BIOMEDICAL stated that its current high-throughput CTC system can simultaneously detect six types of biomarkers—sufficient to meet current clinical and market demands.

Looking ahead, GOOD FUTURE BIOMEDICAL remains optimistic and emphasized its commitment to promoting academic research projects related to CTC technologies. It will continue collaborating with both domestic and international sequencing service providers and research institutions to broaden academic and clinical understanding and application of CTC detection, thereby expanding market demand.

Additionally, the company plans to deepen partnerships with pharmaceutical firms to jointly develop novel CTC biomarkers with high clinical value, aiming to enhance the clinical utility and market penetration of CTC detection. These efforts align with the group's broader strategy to seize opportunities in precision medicine and reinforce its position in the Southeast Asian smart healthcare market.
