Foresee Pharmaceuticals announced that its licensing partner, Changchun GeneScience Pharmaceutical, has submitted a marketing application to Singapore’s Health Sciences Authority (HSA) for CAMCEVI 42mg, a new formulation developed for the treatment of prostate cancer.

Foresee noted that with aging populations, the number of prostate cancer patients is steadily rising. According to GLOBOCAN, prostate cancer is the second most common cancer among men worldwide. In 2022, out of approximately 10 million new cancer cases in men globally, 14.2% were prostate cancer. Furthermore, data from Nova One Advisor indicates that the global market for prostate cancer therapeutics was valued at USD 16.46 billion in 2022 and is projected to grow to USD 36.54 billion by 2032, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8.3%. The market potential for hormone therapies related to CAMCEVI is therefore considered substantial.
