VIZIONFOCUS, a contact lens manufacturer, announced that its consolidated revenue for July 2025 was NT$280 million, representing a 6.38% decline from the previous month but an increase of 20.82% compared to the same period last year. The month-on-month decrease was primarily due to cooling demand after the “618 Shopping Festival.” For the first seven months of 2025, cumulative consolidated revenue reached NT$1.97 billion, a 13.50% year-on-year increase.
To meet the peak demand in the second half of the year, particularly around the “Double 11” shopping season, VIZIONFOCUS has invested in two new production lines. Each is expected to add 3.2 million lenses in monthly capacity, increasing total monthly output from 54 million lenses in the first half of the year to 57 million starting in September.
The global contact lens market continues to see steady end-consumer demand. VIZIONFOCUS noted that while China’s economy is still recovering slowly and the domestic market remains highly competitive, the company has continued to grow against the trend, leveraging its strengths in automated manufacturing and robust R&D capabilities. VIZIONFOCUS will hold an investor conference on August 14, during which it will provide further updates on the Chinese market and its outlook for the second half of the year.
Looking ahead, with the launch of new products, the onboarding of new customers, and stocking demand ahead of shopping festivals such as Double 11, the company expects full-year revenue to continue positive growth. VIZIONFOCUS also plans to accelerate the business development of its subsidiaries in Taiwan and the United States to further enhance overall revenue and profitability, while new customers and new product lines are expected to drive additional orders in the Japanese market.
