ADIMMUNE announced on September 9 that after completing domestic production of seasonal influenza vaccines to meet Taiwan’s public health needs this year, its production lines continue to operate at high speed, primarily to support the production scaling program with international pharmaceutical giant Sanofi. The company’s second sterile vial filling line has entered trial production and process validation (PV) batches, expected to fully meet the doubled supply targets agreed for next year.

ADIMMUNE has partnered with Sanofi for over a decade. Since 2015, the two companies have jointly advanced the U.S.-based cell-based recombinant protein influenza vaccine Flublok, achieving commercial-scale production in 2017. Over the years, ADIMMUNE has consistently ranked highly in Sanofi’s global manufacturing partner evaluations, earning strong recognition for its supply quality. This year, Sanofi has dispatched three key teams to Taiwan for collaborative exchanges. The PV batch production is currently underway at ADIMMUNE’s Tanzi facility and is expected to successfully achieve the agreed production doubling target for next year.

In the biosimilar field, ADIMMUNE is also collaborating with a Korean pharmaceutical company. Products manufactured by ADIMMUNE under this partnership have obtained regulatory approvals in major markets, and recently, senior technical personnel from the Korean partner have come to Taiwan to participate in commercial batch production.

ADIMMUNE emphasized that accelerating internationalization is a core future strategy. In addition to deepening cooperation with global pharmaceutical companies, the company is actively expanding into emerging markets in the Southern Hemisphere and the Middle East. With dual-track progress in vaccines and biosimilars, revenue is expected to grow significantly next year, laying a strong foundation for the company’s next stage of development.
