PAHSCO (Pacific Hospital Supply Co., Ltd.) reported September revenue of NT$213 million, maintaining a strong monthly performance above NT$200 million for the third consecutive month. This robust momentum drove third-quarter revenue to NT$659 million, up 3.1% quarter-on-quarter and reaching a record high for the same period, representing a 7.2% year-on-year increase (or 9.2% growth in original currency), demonstrating PAHSCO’s solid and sustained growth momentum.
The company noted that from July to September, monthly revenues reached NT$223 million, NT$222 million, and NT$213 million, respectively, exceeding the same period last year (NT$639 million) and setting a new record. Despite an approximately 2-percentage-point impact from the appreciation of the New Taiwan dollar, overall revenue still posted nearly double-digit annual growth, reflecting continued strong demand in overseas markets.
By region, Europe, Japan, and other Asian markets all performed impressively. In Europe, demand for closed-system medical devices drove inventory replenishment, resulting in a 14% annual increase in revenue. In Japan, strong shipments of closed-system devices, catheters, and wound drainage products fueled a 58% surge in revenue, raising Japan’s share to 27.9%. Other Asian markets also posted 18% year-on-year growth, accounting for 10.6% of total sales.
Among regions with flat performance, North America was only slightly affected by tariff policies, recording a minor 1.1% decline. Taiwan saw a mild decrease due to shipment timing differences, while Germany, which had a high comparison base with 98% growth in 2024, continued destocking efforts with stable shipments, resulting in a 6.2% annual decline.
From a product perspective, closed-system medical devices accounted for 23.7% of total revenue, up 16.9% year-on-year, while non-closed products made up 76.3%. Among them, tubing products stood out with 26.4% annual growth, serving as the main driver of overall revenue expansion.
PAHSCO emphasized that with steady demand growth in Europe and Japan’s medical markets, the company continues to optimize production line allocation and supply chain management while actively expanding into emerging Asian markets. It expects operations to remain at a high level in the second half of the year, with full-year revenue likely to hit a new record high.
