Taiwan’s AI-driven biomedical multinational alliance is officially underway. KIM FOREST ENTERPRISE announced that its subsidiary Essense AI, together with GeneASIC and Israel’s Geneyx Genomex Ltd., has signed a strategic cooperation memorandum of understanding (MOU) to jointly develop a world-first, AI-powered full-genome carrier screening technology, creating a new era of the “45-minute genetic health scan.”

The collaboration was officially unveiled at the American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG) Annual Meeting in Boston from October 14–18, 2025, signaling the onset of an AI-driven revolution in genomic medicine. KIM FOREST ENTERPRISE explained that while traditional genome sequencing and analysis can take days or even weeks, the integration of AI and hardware acceleration now allows analysis to be completed within one hour—with raw data available in 30 minutes and a full health report in 45 minutes.

The partnership leverages the core strengths of each company: GeneASIC provides high-speed computing technology based on FPGA/ASIC, capable of completing secondary whole-genome analysis on-site in 30 minutes—tens of times faster than traditional methods; Geneyx contributes a clinical-grade AI genome interpretation platform that automatically identifies disease-related genetic variants and generates medical-grade reports; KIM FOREST ENTERPRISE integrates this AI interpretation system into its Essense AI Health Data Platform, combining it with a professional medical team to bring next-generation full-genome carrier screening to clinical and health testing markets.

This technology represents more than high-end medical instruments in specialized centers—it is an AI-powered, ultra-fast full-genome health scan revolution. It enables prospective parents to perform carrier screening, allows rapid identification of abnormal genes in rare disease and cancer patients to assist diagnosis and treatment, and provides insights into personal genetics, drug responses, and disease risks for individuals with chronic conditions or general health concerns, supporting personalized health management.
