TTY Biopharm General Manager Joy Hou reported record-high revenue and EPS ($5.05) for the first three quarters of 2024. The company’s growth is fueled by its "Three Arrows" strategy:
- Arrow 1: Global Expansion of Complex Generics: The liposomal antibiotic Lipo-AB now holds over one-third of the U.S. market share for its class. Export revenue currently accounts for nearly 20% of total sales, with expansion underway in the Middle East, Australia, and South America.
- Arrow 2: In-Licensing International Novel Drugs: The hematology drug Minjuvi secured NHI reimbursement in October. Other newly launched products include Xpovio (multiple myeloma) and a targeted small molecule for lung cancer, both expected to contribute significantly in 2025.
- Arrow 3: Domestic New Drug Development: Following the launch of the antibiotic Bobimixyn, TTY plans to release a targeted lung cancer drug and a new breast cancer therapeutic (with NHI reimbursement) in early 2025.
Vaccine Strategy: TTY is also a major player in the flu vaccine market and is well-positioned to secure government contracts for adjuvanted vaccines (200,000 doses) and chickenpox vaccines starting next year.
